● If smear +ve after 2 months chemotherapy: additional 1 month of intensive chemotherapy
● If diseases are serious: additional 2 to 3 months of continuation therapy
● If drug resistant rate is low: removal 4th drug, E or S from intensive therapy

Almost of chronics are multiple drug-resistant, treatment are very difficult and highly costy, so the priority is low : if possible select sensitive drugs depend on drug susceptibility results, or treat with isoniazid
